IPS panels & duct systems
IPS stands for integrated plumbing system. It is a framework fixed behind WCs, urinals and basins with removable panels on the front, so cisterns, valves and pipework are hidden but still accessible for maintenance. IPS gives a washroom a clean, modern look and makes cleaning far easier.

How IPS is built
A timber or steel frame carries the concealed cisterns and pipework. Panels in compact laminate or MFC fix to the frame, usually with a lockable access panel at each cistern. A worktop shelf can run along the top.
Matching your cubicles
We usually supply IPS in the same board and colour as the cubicles, so duct panels, cubicle fronts and vanity units line up as one design.
Healthcare and hygiene
For healthcare and food-sector washrooms we can specify hygienic IPS with sealed joints and wipe-clean faces.

Frequently asked questions
Do IPS panels need a plumber?
IPS involves moving cisterns and pipework behind the panels, so a plumber is part of the job. We coordinate the plumbing as part of the installation.
How much space does IPS take?
A duct zone is typically 150–300mm deep, depending on cistern type and pipework. We allow for it in the cubicle depth at survey.
